Taste of Chicago 2019
The Taste of Chicago brings five days of delicious food and live music to Grant Park. Prepare for five (5) days of deep dish pizza, hot dogs and music. This year the Taste of Chicago took place July 11 – 15, 2018.
The Taste of Chicago takes places each summer. A variety of local restaurants and food vendors set up booths in Grant Park for a free festival, offering samples of their most popular dishes. The festival has its own currency—you purchase tickets at the gate which can be spent on food and drinks. The Taste of Chicago also books a robust lineup of concerts. This year headliners consisted of sets from the Flaming Lips, Brandi Carlile and George Clinton. Lawn admission to concerts is free, while pavilion seating ranges from $18 to $50.
There are also lots of other things to do in Chicago. You can visit the Skydeck, located on the 103rd floor of the Willis Tower (formerly the Sears Tower) and look out on Chicago's skyline for panoramic views of the sprawling Windy City. You can visit the Art Institute of Chicago, the famous Shedd Aquarium, the Planetarium or you can take a cruise on the river and admire the city from the water. And let’s not forget about the amazing shopping and the many jazz clubs.
Chicago has something for everyone. Why not make plans to join us next year when we visit the Taste of Chicago in July? Stay tuned for details.
