Hello, I’m Cindy Amin, founder of Colesville Travel, LLC—a full-service travel agency based in Silver Spring, Maryland.

For me, travel has never been simply about visiting another destination. It is about discovering the history of a place, experiencing its culture, connecting with its people, and returning home with a broader view of the world.

That belief is at the heart of every journey I design.

Where My Journey Began

My love of travel began when I was a young girl, spending hours spinning the globe in my room and imagining the remarkable places I might one day explore.

At age 20, those dreams began to take shape during my first major trip—a three-week journey to Hawaii. I hiked Diamond Head, visited the Polynesian Cultural Center, swam at beautiful Lanikai Beach, tasted fresh pineapple, and experienced the warmth and traditions of an authentic Hawaiian luau.

That journey awakened a lifelong curiosity about the world.

Since then, I have traveled across six continents—Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, South America, and Australia. Every destination has deepened my appreciation for the people, traditions, history, cuisine, and experiences that make each place unique.

From Corporate Professional to Travel Advisor

Born in Brooklyn and raised in Queens, New York, I began my professional career at a prestigious intellectual property law firm in New York City.

That experience taught me the importance of exceptional client service, careful organization, discretion, attention to detail, and listening closely to understand what each client truly needs.

After relocating to Maryland in 1992, I discovered that my love of working with people and my passion for exploring the world could become something more. In 2007, I founded Colesville Travel and began turning those passions into thoughtfully designed travel experiences for others.

Today, I bring decades of professional experience, extensive destination knowledge, and a personal commitment to excellence to every journey I plan.
