Who is Colesville Travel?

Colesville Travel is a full-service travel agency specializing in groups, luxury and international travel.

Is Colesville Travel an accredited and licensed agency?

Yes, Colesville Travel is an accredited and licensed agency with CLIA (Cruise Line International Association), IATA (International Air Transport Association), ASTA (American Society of Travel Agents) and Travel Leaders Network. We are also a member of the Better Business Bureau (BBB). 

What are your hours?

Our business hours are 10 am – 6 pm, Monday-Friday. Saturday and Sunday by appointment only.

What type of payments do you accept?

We accept all four major credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. Checks and money orders are also accepted.

Do you provide refunds?

Initial deposits for group and customized trips are nonrefundable and non-transferable. Please refer to the terms and conditions that are provided with your tour.  

For packaged individual trips, please refer to the terms and conditions policy. All clients are required to accept our terms and conditions policy before the reservation is accepted. We strongly encourage clients to purchase travel insurance to protect your investment.

Do I need to make a payment every month?

Colesville Travel highly recommends you make monthly payments. Please contact us if you have extenuating circumstances. The final balance for most group trips is due two (2) months prior to departure. 

How do I book a trip?

Please fill out the reservation form to register for every new trip. All information on the registration form must be completed.  

Does everyone in my room need to fill out a form?

Yes, all members in your room must fill out a registration form. 

How do I make a payment for a group or customized trip?
If you are making a payment for a group or customized trip, please go to the Payment Page on the Colesville Travel website and make your payment.  

How do I make a payment for a domestic, Caribbean or trip to Mexico?  

If you are paying for a domestic, Caribbean or trip to Mexico make sure you fill out the Registration Form completely. Once I receive the form, I will make your payment, or I will send you a payment link.    

Can I make a reservation on a trip after the payments have begun?

Yes, as long as reservations and spots are still available, you can make reservations on any trip at any time. You will need to make the first deposit, and then make monthly payments. The balance must be paid on time. If you have extenuating circumstances, please contact Colesville Travel. 

What happens after I make my reservation?

Once you make your reservation, you will receive an invoice via email. Your invoice will include your payments to date. 

After I make my reservation, how do I make monthly payments?

You can make a monthly payment in several ways:

Can I pay on my trip via check or money order? 

Yes, you can. Please mail a check or money order to Colesville Travel no less than 60 days prior to travel.

What if I need to cancel my trip reservation?

If you need to cancel your trip, please send an email to Colesville Travel. The amount of your refund will be contingent on the terms of your trip.

Is trip insurance mandatory?

Travel insurance is not mandatory. but highly recommended. If you do not purchase insurance with Colesville Travel, you are required to sign an insurance waiver that you decline travel insurance.

Do you provide roommate matching?

We can try to arrange for a roommate on certain group trips, but we do not guarantee. Please contact Colesville Travel if you would like to be matched with a roommate.  

What happens if my roommate cancels their reservation?

If your roommate cancels their reservation, your invoice will be updated to reflect the new occupancy rate. 

What happens if I make a payment and my roommate(s) fails to pay?

If your roommate does not make payment, it is will be your responsibility to find a new roommate. If you do not find a new roommate, your invoice will be adjusted to reflect the new rate.  

When will I receive my travel itinerary/travel documents?

Your travel documents and final itinerary will be forwarded to each client 14-21 days before travel.  

Do you charge a travel consultation fee?

Yes. Planning a vacation requires a lot of time and work. As consumers, we pay doctors, lawyers, financial planners, interior designers, etc. for their wisdom/experience/opinion and service.

Colesville Travel works hard to research suppliers to find the best arrangement to fit your budget and lifestyle. In order to perform the professional services required to start your travel planning, a consultation fee is required.

The consultation fee is non-refundable and non-transferable and is separate from the total cost of the trip. This consultation fee must be paid prior to any travel planning, research, booking or any additional consulting services.  

Your customized proposal will be emailed within 12-48 hours for the Caribbean, Mexico and cruises. Customized international quotes could take up to 4-7 days, and group international quotes could take up to 7-10 days.

Travel must be booked within 30 days of the proposal, or a new fee may be assessed. No exceptions will be made. Booking with Colesville Travel offers you 24/7 support while on vacation and continues until you return home. Working with Colesville Travel will take the stress out of the travel planning process. How much are your consultation fees?

Can I have my personal customized Group Trip added to your website?

Yes, you can add your group trip to the website. The fee is $100 for the web designer to add your trip information to the website. Please go the Payment Page on the website to make your payment.

Colesville Travel works with select people who are motivated and willing to learn the travel business. Please contact us for additional information. 

I have a group of people that want to travel, how can I become a Group Leader?
